Fri, 26 Jan 2018 19:18:07 +0000http://trashisfortossers.com/?p=1919#comment-10243Lauren i have wanted to do this for a long time but there are just things that i wonder how do you get home without the packaging…like coffee? i’ve never seen coffee for sale seperate and if it is it is very over priced and i’m sure that you can’t bring in your own bag after you grind it that they have bags there…or all the stuff you need to make your own toothpaste, shampoo or vinegar? don’t you have to bring those home from the store in plastic? i wish that stores did have refill stations for common items but i think because it is a free market here that there are to many companies to house all these refill stations…like say walmart…if they had a vinegar filling station like a big jug sitting there for you to bring in your container to fill…they would have to have five big jugs sitting there filled with five different marketed vinegar makers…but i suppose the problem would be they would have totally reconfigure every stores layout in order for this change to happen…and can you imagine if every person in the world started living like you at the same moment how the market would drop…how many jobs are lost all around the world if every person turned their head to plastic…? Unfortunately, this world is fighting us on this positive change we are trying to make…think of stores that carry items that didn’t sell at the bigger stores that become markdowns…they would eventually disappear…oh my what would happen if we all did what was right for us…i wish this would happen. i wish a president would come in and say guess what…no more plastic, no more meat consumption in fast food you raise it and slaughter it yourself if you want it, no more SUV’s sitting in drive thru’s waiting for a 99 Cent taco to be cooked up for you-get out of your car and walk in, no more junk mail, ….even if all this disappeared there are still those people unlike yourself that just don’t care…hopefully, what you are doing will get more people realizing this is not the way we should be living…God bless you for doing more than your part!
