I am heading out for one month with nothing but a suitcase and some essentials… and I’m going to do the entire thing waste free. Over the next month I will be documenting my journey as well as showing you how I navigate potentially wasteful situations without producing any trash.

Fantastic! Just a quick question … Can rubber sandals when they wear thin be recycled? If so is it just in your normal recycling bin.
I get them secondhand and then will send them to textile recycling once I'm done, but they last a very long time.

I'm wondering what you do to cut food? I don't see any knives in your travel kit. as someone who is a cheese lover and cuts fruits and veggies I would need to take at least a paring knife with me.
I'm buying a safety razor soon, and I was wondering if you use a bar of soap as shave cream or the special stuff you can buy for them? thank! I love your site and instagram!
